Boxing Day 2010

Nice band of lake effect snow set up over Kenosha last night leaving between 7 and 10 inches of snow. The UW-Parkside course was just about at ground zero and it had a set track, so that's the hot spot for this week.

In case some of you noticed, it's now "DoublePolePix" without the hyphen, although the original blogspot URL still has it (which I can't change).

First Snow!

Okay, so maybe it's not snow from Mother nature, but it's good to see anyway! Was driving through Kewaskum to do some MTB riding and what before my wondering eyes should appear?

Time for some blog maintenance too. I see the falling snow background here has melted.

A Fine February Day

What a great winter we're having for skiing, eh? My first ski was on December 7th and we really haven't had a forced break since. While the sun is showing more power this time of year, there is still TONS of snow on the trails. Ski on!
