Another Autumn Storm !

Here comes another one! It may be more of a sloppy
mix of rain and snow, but I'll hope for the best. Get some
skiing in today if you can.

I made some changes to the header photo here.
Looking better, more changes in the works.

Ski-on.

Ski - On !!

The first real snow fall of the year was Sunday. In general it was 2 inches but a band of lake effect snow dumped 6 to 10 inches across parts of the area. The wonderful groomer at Minooka Park took full advantage of that and double tracked the whole trail system. There are some leaves on the trail in the wooded areas but very few thin spots.

Not knowing what I'd find, I just headed over in civies (blue jeans). Tomorrow it's full
ski gear!

More snow in the forecast for tomorrow.
I say: BRING IT ON!!

Roll 4 Snow

The first race of the year was held in 37 degree rain.

Cold? 'Ya, but not cold enough!

Winner Pete Jennik says:
"The cold doesn't bother me, after a short time your skin just goes numb" !
